where an idea for an article will come from. Take this past week. I went to a cooking school/show, expecting to get nothing more than some good recipe ideas for a brunch I'm planning in a few weeks. I got those ideas, and a couple more!
Not only do I now know the brunch menu, but the presenter was talking about different brunch themes for different times of the year...so I'm researching fall brunches, holiday brunches and yeah some spring brunches for an article. The idea isn't fully formed yet, but I'm going to try to sell it to a women's magazine - a kind of taste of the seasons article. Cool, eh?
The other idea I got was for a bridal magazine - because the presenter's boyfriend DROVE from three states away and proposed to her onstage. It was the sweetest thing and he was obviously very nervous about it...but I thought, wouldn't that make a fun article? How to propose/fun proposal stories...That idea is definitely not even half formed, but it's becoming a little bit clearer.

You sound like a very creative person. I wish you luck.
I have added you to the T13 blogroll and wanted to welcome you.
Thanks for visiting Jane...come back any time... and thanks for the add!
Hello from a fellow writer! TTing is a great way to hook up with new people, so enjoy the fun!
Both sound like great ideas for articles. I'm a writer, too, and often my inspiration comes from some of the most unlikely places. Congrats on being featured in the first TT Carnival!
Expect the unexpected =)
Love both of your ideas, especially the one for the bridal magazine!
Congrats on being featured in the 1st T13-Carnival.
Hey, Kristi! Congrats on making the first T13 carnival! I'm a fellow AW member, fellow writer, fellow all of it, it seems.
Definitely gonna poke around some here and your other blog... hope your RSS feed is on!
Hi, everyone! Thanks for visiting...and I'll try to keep everything up to date for ya! :)
Congrats on being chosen for the first Thursday Thirteen carnival. Not only did you get good ideas, you reminded me of a memoir I kept meaning to write about a brunch we had. Now, I at least, have added it to my list of memoirs to write. Looking forward to reading your articles, sound like good ideas.
